I have to say how touched we are by the sensitivity and kindness we received from Gladesville Veterinary Hospital through our ordeal with Poppy a week ago.
When… we arrived last week, we didn’t even pause at the reception desk, they rushed us straight through. We went home devastated and left her there for closer examination.
Someone from the clinic called us not long after just to see if we were OK, then they were amazing about the fees for examining poor Poppy.
Next a thoughtful card arrived from them and last of all – a Christmas card and someone was sensitive and thorough enough to update the database so only names of living pets were on it.
Poppy occasionally boarded with them if our beloved house sitter was unavailable, they always gave her a cuddle when she was going home and had something good to say about what a lovely dog she was and how they’d miss her.
Thank you Gladesville Vet. If only Poppy showed signs of something being wrong we know they’d have saved her. ?

I took my little poodle, Evie to Gladesville Vet Practice after a recommendation by a friend of mine. I must say that I couldn’t be happier with the care and dedication given by all of the staff at this practice. Evie has been born with some major problems which caused her to start experiencing seizures at the very young age of 4 months of age.
The treatment and care given to her has been absolutely wonderful and I cannot thank every staff member enough for the care and assistance they give to both Evie and myself.
A great bunch of people. I highly recommend them to everyone.
Evie will definitely be a patient of theirs for many, many years to come.

The Mini Kitty Commune (MKC) has been working with GVH since 2004 and it’s like family to us. We know when we take animals up there, no matter what the issue, the GVH team have the equipment, training and support to diagnose and help them. We love the staff and the team make us feel like home, no matter how weird the issue or late the drop in. Thank you guys for all your help!
