Amy

Head Veterinary Nurse

Amy started her career as a veterinary nurse in 2007, where she worked on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. She completed her certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2011.

The love of animals began for her during childhood, where she grew up with variety of pets ranging from reptiles, fish, right through to cats and dogs. This love and passion towards helping and caring for a wide variety of animals continues to this day.

Amy joined the team at Gladesville Veterinary Hospital in 2019, starting on the reception desk before joining the nursing team a short time later. Her love and compassion towards animals and staff has lead her to becoming the head of the nursing team.

She has a keen interest in learning and the development of nursing skills for both herself and the nursing staff.

In her down time she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 beautiful daughters, catching up with family, sewing, getting out in the great outdoors and has a real soft spot for dogs, in particular Staffordshire bull terriers.
