Sally
Client Services
After a career in education, Sally’s love for animals led her to join the Gladesville Veterinary Hospital client services team in 2021. Sally enjoys the challenges of being on the front line of a busy vet hospital, working with the team to provide the best experience possible for patients and their owners.
Raised on a farm in north eastern Victoria, it was impressed on Sally at a young age to “never go near the shearers greyhounds”. Completely ignoring this she has become an enthusiastic promoter of greyhounds as pets working as a volunteer to assist ex-racing dogs navigate the challenges of becoming a pet. Sally’s adopted couch potatoes are Hazel and George Storm.
Sally is a committed chicken fancier with a small flock of laying hens. She is also a keen gardener and has had to employ some creative solutions to prevent the greyhounds from sniffing out the chickens and keep the chickens from digging up the garden.
Sally also works as a sessional academic at The University of Sydney teaching professional skills to engineering students
