Jane Jovani Dip App Sci Medical Nucleography

Jane is our Nuclear Medicine and laboratory technologist.

She began her connection with the GVH family when her dog needed a Nuclear Medicine bone scan in late 2002. Being a qualified human nuclear medicine technologist Jane was eager to observe her dog's scan. As it turned out Max was short staffed that day and Jane stepped in to help out... she's been here with us ever since.

As the GVH Nuclear Medicine Technologist, she works alongside Max on Wednesday afternoons in our Nuclear Medicine facility routinely performing and analysing scans for hyperthyroidism in cats; dog bone scans; dog thyroid scans and less frequent studies such as porto- systemic shunt studies.

Jane spends most of her other days in our laboratory, running blood tests. She is also responsible for compiling the GVH quarterly newsletter, monthly noticeboard displays; brochure printing, emails and website maintenance.

Jane and her family share their lives with 3 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and has had at times a menagerie of other pets.
