Welcome Shannon

We are delighted to welcome aboard a new member to GVH, Shannon Rich. Shannon is a recent graduate from the University of Sydney where he arrived via Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

Shannon has probably an unusual history for a recent graduate.  After graduating with an Economics Degree from The University of Colorado in 1991, he did what most self-respecting Atlantans do -he joined the Coca-Cola Company.  After five years in Seattle, San Francisco and Salt Lake City, he decided to leave Coke and pursue his long held dream of becoming a small animal veterinarian.

Five years later, spent in what he calls this fantastic country, he has made it!  He says to have even managed to develop an appetite for Vegemite along the way.  Shannon is married to Leslie. They have a one year old boy named Marcus and a tortoiseshell cat called Possum
