Dr Pam Short BVSc(Hons) Dip Vet Clin Studs IVAS Cert MVS

 

 

Pam graduated from Sydney University in 1977 and has been a partner at Gladesville since1985.

 

After completing her undergraduate veterinary studies Pam spent a couple of years working in small animal practice in Sydney. She then worked for two years in England and Wales. In 1982 she completed a postgraduate Diploma in Veterinary Clinical Studies at Sydney University. She started working at Gladesville in 1983, becoming a partner in 1985. She started using acupuncture in her clinical practice in 1991 and in 1995 completed the certificate course of theInternational Veterinary Acupuncture Society. She regularly uses acupuncture and trigger point therapy as an adjunct to conventional clinical practice. In 2004 she completed a Masters degree in Veterinary Studies with Murdoch University.

 

 

 

 

Pam was born and grew up in Sydney and lives locally. She enjoys travelling, does a lot of reading when she has the time, and has completed some tertiary studies in Ancient History and Classical Greek. She likes to frequent art galleries and dabbles in some sketching and painting herself, undeterred by a total lack of talent. She loves Beethoven, Debussy, Louis Armstrong, Picasso, Giotto, the ocean and trees. Pam and her partner are owned by 3 adorable cats and 3 pushy but loveable dogs.
